Executive Board
The Meadow Glen HOA Executive Board (EB) is comprised of five community residents elected annually to serve a two year calendar term (1 January- 31 December).
EB members have many functions that they jointly share, including the responsibilities below.
- Establishing the association’s budget and maintaining adequate reserves; levying.
- Collecting and spending association assessments according to the association’s approved budget.
- Regulating the use, maintenance, repair, replacement and modification of the association’s common elements and units.
- Retaining and supervising property managers.
- Passing and enforcing any appropriate rules and regulations to protect the health, safety and welfare of the association’s homeowners.
- Enforcing the association’s declaration and bylaws.
- Seeing to the fulfillment of the association’s disclosure obligations at annual meetings.
- Ensuring the association is properly insured.
- All in addition to the day-to-day management of the association’s activities.
Architectural Committee
The purpose of the committee is to guarantee the aesthetics of the community are complied with based upon the established architecture rules and regulations.
All changes to the exterior of a residence must be approved by a majority of the committee.
Communications Committee
The purpose of this committee is to facilitate communications from the Executive Board of Directors (EB) to the community at large. At the direction of the EB, this committee will assist in keeping all residents advised of current events and situations within the community including but not limited to projects proposed and Board meetings. It will also assist in the development and distribution of HOA newsletter, operations of the HOA website, administrative duties of HOA social media and other communications as approved by the EB.
Facilities Committee
This committee is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the clubhouse, pool area, pavilion, dog park, American Flag, street lights and the gazebo in phase II. Carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, writing, negotiation, heating and air conditioning expertise, a broad understanding of construction, and a readiness to undertake light duties all contribute to the success of the committee.
Finance Committee
This committee assists the Board of the HOA in managing the finances of the community to ensure a positive cash flow while minimizing the monthly association fees and avoiding special assessments except under extraordinary circumstances.
Landscaping Committee
The purpose of this committee is to ensure compliance with consistent standards established by the Association. Primary focus is on external aesthetic alterations and improvements that impact the common areas and residential units. The Landscaping committee must help the community to understand the approval process to ensure consistency and provide an overall landscape design.
Roads Committee
This committee is responsible for maintaining our roads and other public paved surfaces including sidewalks and curbs and developing a plan to ensure the best long term performance for these surfaces to reduce future expenses.
Social Committee
This committee's primary function is to organize events for the Meadow Glen residents’ enjoyment and to foster a sense of community. These events include but are not limited to holiday celebrations but also include pool parties, picnics and other special events for the benefit of our residents.
Stormwater Committee
The purpose of this committee is to ensure HOA compliance with the Federal Clean Water Act. The Federal Clean Water Act is administered by PA EPA and local municipalities like Skippack Township. We assist and guide volunteers to monitor and manage our Stormwater facilities and related Protected Conservation areas. We complete Skippack Township inspection sheets for each basin as well as monitor seasonal and weather-related changes occurring in and around basins.
